Seattle Improvised Music Festival (2002)

Christopher DeLaurenti and I performed together as rebreather for four years. Our official press blurb, which I thought was very appropriate, said “Abrasive, sparse, ethereal, abrupt, and wistful, rebreather improvise live electronic music from the digital glossolalia of sabotaged consumer electronics, homebrew circuits, and obsolete devices.“

We were honored to be asked to play at the 2002 Seattle Improvised Music Festival, at our favorite venue, the Polestar Music Gallery. . We did a set with Carla Kilstead and Shazad Ismaily as well as a solo set that evening.
