Sound on sound off (2007)

Sound on sound off was a concert I hosted during South by Southwest 2007, in the parking lot behind my old recording studio, Singular Audio. I felt that SXSW, being a commercial enterprise, needs a lot of counterpoint from Austin's new/weird music scene to emphasize that there are many other things happening in the Austin music scene besides crappy blues-rock bands trying to get ‘signed.'

That evening featured wonderful performances by Josh Russell, Josh Ronsen, and Field, which was comprised of myself, Brent Fariss, and Rick Reed, with special guest Travis Weller.
